Who IS KcMsterpce?

Welcome to my site, and if you don't already know me, I wonder how you found the link!

I made this site for my friends, so that when I call them on the phone while I'm away on work business, I can talk to them about what movies I've recently seen. They can check the site so I won't have to try to remember what I watched!

I originally decided to get myself a domain name back in September '04, as a joke to someone on a chat forum. After I bought the domain name, I decided to just stick with it. To practice a little bit of HTML as well as to do some writing every now and then.
I sometimes get asked where my handle "KcMsterpce" came from. In 1996, and I jokingly mentioned that I was going to make a rap album. My real name is Casey, and so I said that my rap name will be "KcMastuhPeace", and my album title would be Mastuhpeace Theatuh. I made a few rap songs (all of which sucked... one of the song's lyrics mentioned that I'd "rap you with my rhymes in the mix master sauce"), and nothing came of the name after that, except as a joke among my friends.
I made my AOL email address "kcmsterpce@aol.com" (now defunct, because AOL is shit, worthless and evil) because only 12 letters or so were allowed, so I shortened the handle to what it is now.

Skip to 2000, and I start playing Counter-Strike. A lot. I decided to make my handle "KcMsterpce", since why not, eh? Then on the Joblo forums, several other local forums in Hawaii, and so on... all had the KcMsterpce monicker attached to me.
That's how the name "KcMsterpce" was made, and the reason I now have the domain is because of a ridiculous joke on a local forum. I figured I'd use the monthly payments for SOME KIND of usefulness.

I love movies (obviously), love to play guitar, and wish I had more time to do so. I'm too busy doing everything else to spend lots of time with guitar any more. Back when I was 16, the guitar and I were always side by side. I walked everywhere, did EVERYTHING with a guitar next to me. I used to play at least 2 hours a day on weeknights, and 5+ hours a day on weekends. Sometimes more. I had fat-thick calluses, mean chops, fast fingers and a plethora of self-taught skillZ at my disposal. Not these days. I have little nubs for calluses - if I have any at all - and I just think back on the good old days, when I was Uber.

Peace out, homies, and whoever does see this site, I hope you get some laughs here and there, and maybe you'll enjoy my reviews! Maybe not! Either way, most of the stuff I write is intended to be amusing.

I'm a big fan of sarcasm. :)
